In 2004 we moved into a warm and spacious home with a generous back yard.  Having chosen to remain a home without children we still wished for a companion.  Many hours of research and visiting puppy stores and puppy parks brought us to know the Shiba Inu.

However we were not keen on buying from the local mall, and had similar feelings about the few regional Shiba Inu breeding farms.

Family breeders that give individual attention and produce what we feel is a far more family oriented Shiba Inu were unknown in our area.  Despite the Atlantic Metropolis running from Boston to DC., our idea of a family breeder was not to be found.  Feywine and Darmaline came to us from Missouri, Citera from Minnesota and Cello hails from the state of Oregon.

Shiba Inu are such a special and delightful breed that families should not have to search so hard in our area to find a special Shiba friend.

With this in mind we have educated ourselves and created a home that is first a loving and nurturing family, and only after the focus is complete on providing the best home for puppies did we breed Cello and Citera.  In this way their precious babies have come into the world knowing only the best of care, and in return they are playful, attentive, and affectionate.

With the aid of our whole family, Shogun Shiba Inu are exposed to many people.  Shogun Shiba Inu are comfortable with the coming and going of friends and family, and are very well adjusted to the family environment.
