Our commitment to our Shiba Inu is no less than any proud parent feels for their own child.  Our focus is to know they are safe, loved, and happy.

The foundation of a happy Shiba Inu home is
a comprehensive understanding of the breed.

The reasons we so strongly press a solid Shiba education are to:

  1. Bring quality information to any who are new to the Shiba Inu experience
  2. Ensure a more informed discourse with the Breeder
  3. Reinforce the endearing traits of Shiba Inu
  4. Provide emphasized warning on the high-maintenance traits of Shiba Inu

During your communication with the Breeder, Shiba Inu traits that might often be seen as non-positives will be cited, and cited often.  This is done out of love and to prevent any adoption of a Shiba Inu by persons or families who are not compatible with Shiba Inu idiosyncrasies.

The Rescue Option

Shiba Rescues are heaven-sent and as noble as the Shiba Inu breed that we love.  Shogun Shiba encourages you to first investigate your local Shiba Inu Rescue.  Were it in our power, Shogun Shiba would provide to every homeless Shiba Inu one-hundred acres to run, hunt and play; and a doting family to shower them with the affection that they so deserve.

By now you have been smitten by the Shiba spell, and should have looked around your home and decided that it is OK if your new baby Shiba chews on most, if not all, of it.

If you are truly up for the Shiba Inu adventure, then let’s talk.

Shiba Inu are unique - and wonderfully so.
But with certainty, they are unique.
